Within the Cash Management segment is the Merchant Solutions team.


    Within Merchant Solutions (MS), we are looking for a cash specialist in the FinTech & Platform Sales Team for supporting the FinTech Sales teams globally, acting as (I) a client advisor directly or in co-coverage model with Senior Sales II) a focal contact point for sales colleagues (III) an industry subject matter expert and (III) a vital connection between various internal key stakeholders for the FinTech client segment including Coverage, FX, Product, BCU, NFR, AFC and Legal.

    Your key responsibilities:

    • As the head of the Fintech and Platform Sales in China, the person will be responsible for driving the sales and strategy to grow the segment within Cash Management with Fintech Clients in China.
    • Facilitating FinTech revenue growth across the cash product portfolio and FX, through identifying sales opportunities, advising the FinTech clients on cash management solutions and winning deals directly or in co-coverage model with Senior sales
    • co-ordinating sales efforts and collaborating with product specialists globally ensuring replication of best practice
    • Be responsible for CCM sales support for a defined selection of FinTechs globally owning the CCM sales agenda for these names and driving progress.
    • Support growth of segment prudently in a safe & sound manner, ensuring business remains within Deutsche Bank risk appetite and external regulations are adhered to at all times
    • Working in the FinTech central team on strategic FinTech initiatives, driving internal awareness, and segment know-how
    • Ensure close cooperation with key stakeholders including Coverage, FX, Product, BCU, AFC and Legal
    • Act as centre of competence for topics & trends in the FinTech segment
    • Act as a support for all relevant FinTech Governance Bodies


    Your skills and experience:

    • 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in transaction/ corporate banking
    • Solid knowledge of trends and regulations in the cash management space as well as product understanding (particularly in the payments space, digitalisation & disruptive technologies)
    • Understanding of all types of business risks and ability to manage these risks
    • Strong team-player attitude towards your work with simultaneously the ability to lead and coordinate where appropriate
    • Strong pro-active communication skills in building strong, long term value added relationships with clients and within the DB network globally through an international mind-set
    • Ability to drive execution of internal projects and external client demands
    • High motivation for the role, strong problem solving skills and ability to overcome challenges in a positive manner; adhering to strict deadlines and tight turnaround times
    • Language skills: English (negotiation level), Chinese dialects particularly Mandarin
    • An overall proactive and positive attitude to drive change
