Job Description

The employee will be an employee of Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
Control RD&E Department, based in Tianjin Wuqing plant, reporting to the New
Product Development Manager of RAC China R&D Center

Job Responsibilities

- Responsible for design of cost down project and NPD of PL01/PL40 products,
lead and complete related design and agreed deliverables
- Validate ideas and concepts by using design tools and risk management
- Set the direction for the design work so that the design solution matches
the requirements and objectives of the project.
- Product design to meet customer and market needs, and relevant laws,
regulations and standards .
- Develop clear product technical specifications, clear quality and cost
requirements
- Manage design review, risk assessment and mitigate actions,and product
failure cause analysis
- Focus on continuous improvement of product quality
- Design to cost and manufacturing with strong commercial focus
- Promote and regularly communicate the overall progress of project R&D tasks
with stakeholders, ensure the visualization of progress and good team
communication and cooperation

Background & Skills

- Bachelor and/or Master in Mechanical/Mechatronics or a similar education
combined with a technical background, as well as strong communication and
collaboration skills. Fluent and comprehensive English skills is also a must.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design methods, fluids and thermodynamics,
manufacturing and joining processes, mechanical strength and dimensions
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Advanced Engineering, Innovation, and/or
Technology. VA/VE experience is prefered
- Practical experience with Technology Scouting, Innovation, Development,
verification and validation of Mechanical and Electronic product solutions and
systems
